Closed to New Applications

The benefits below describe the Citi Platinum Select replacement card for eligible converted accounts. They are not a new Aviator Red application offer.

Mileage Earning After Conversion

The Citi Platinum Select earns 2 AAdvantage® miles per $1 at restaurants, gas stations, and on eligible American Airlines purchases. Other purchases earn 1 mile per $1.

Domestic Checked-Bag Benefit

On eligible domestic American Airlines itineraries, the first checked bag is included for the primary cardmember and up to 4 companions on the same reservation. Conditions apply.

Preferred Boarding

Eligible cardmembers and up to 4 companions sharing their reservation receive preferred boarding on American Airlines flights, subject to the card's benefit terms.

25% Savings on Inflight Food and Drinks

Pay with the Citi Platinum Select to receive 25% savings on eligible food and beverage purchases aboard American Airlines flights. Benefit terms and exclusions apply.

The former Aviator Red had a $99 annual fee. For a converted account, consult your current Citi disclosures for the applicable annual fee and APRs. Do not assume that promotions for new applicants apply to an existing converted account.

Citi lists no foreign transaction fees for the Citi® / AAdvantage® Platinum Select® card. Other account charges and interest may still apply under your card agreement.

Citi described these as temporary legacy benefits for eligible former Aviator Red accounts. Check subsequent Citi notices for their end dates and remaining eligibility. Do not assume that either benefit continues indefinitely.
